Weber to race at the OHSAA Swimming Championship in two events

What: 51st OHSAA Girls Swimming Championship (Division II)

Who: Midview High School freshman Alyson Weber (200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke) and the other 31 state qualifiers in each event

When: Prelims take place Thursday (February 26) from 5-9 p.m.

Where: C.T. Branin Natatorium (1715 Harrison Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708)

Tickets: Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults (per session) and sold exclusively online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. [Swimming & Diving --> Division II] Children 5 and under are free. Tickets will go on sale to the public Wednesday (February 25) at 12:01 p.m. No ticket sales at the door. Note: This is a very crowded event with limited tickets availability

Seeds: Weber is seeded 16th in the 200 Freestyle (1:57.32) and 9th in the 100 Backstroke (58.61).

What's at Stake: The top 16 will advance to the Finals at the same loaction on Friday (February 27) at 5 p.m.

History at Work: This is the fourth straight season a Middie has qualified for the State Championship. Grace Henely competed in both 2023 and 2024, while Reagan Henley competed in 2025.
