Girls Wresting finishes 41st at Lady Longhorn Invitational

Midview Varsity Girls Wrestling had three individuals participate in the Lady Longhorn Invitational, hosted by Lutheran West High School, December 27-28. The Middies earned 31 points to finish 41st out of 55 teams.

Sophomore Olivia Kirkpatrick was the top placer as she finished sixth in the 140 pound weight class. Senior Emily Eakins placed 18th in the 170 pound weight class, while junior Alaina Malone Brown took 22nd in the 130 pound weight class.

The Middies are back on the mat January 9 when they play host to Berea-Midpark High School. Action begins at 6:30 p.m.
