Midview Girls Tennis suffers 3-2 loss to host Avon Lake

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis lost its Southwestern Conference opener 3-2 at Avon Lake High School Monday (August 11) evening. 

The short-handed Middies earned wins from senior Brynn Wuensch at second singles (6-3, 6-4) and junior Danica Hazzard at third singles (6-3, 6-4). Junior first singles player Jillian Hubbard was winning at her match but had to medically default before it ended.

The Middies look to heal up before the visit Berea-Midpark High School on Wednesday (August 13) at 4:30 p.m.
