Midview Girls Soccer drops heart-breaker to Amherst

Midview Varsity Girls Soccer dropped a 1-0 Southwestern Conference match-up to visiting Amherst Steele High School on Wednesday (October 8) evening.

The Middies and Comets played a defensive battle, where the only goal of the game came with 1:20 left on the clock. It was also the 12th time this season that Midview was held off the scoreboard.

The Middies (4-11-2, 0-7 SWC) now turn their attention to Holy Name High School, which will be their OHSAA Sectional Final opponent on October 16 at Brooklyn High School. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
