Amherst defeats Midview Track and Field in SWC Dual

Midview Track and Field dropped a Southwestern Conference dual at Amherst Steele High School on Wednesday (April 29) evening. The Comets won the boys competition 70-35 and the girls competition 81-24.

Junior Cora Vance won the 200m Dash (26.91). Senior Samuel Estes won the 110m Hurdles (18.30). Junior Ava Hamm, junior Leah McKay, sophomore Hannah Bacskay and Vance won the 4x100m Relay (51.24). Sophomore Nathan Sooy, senior Gage Weaver, senior Seth Gendics and junior Logan Edgell won the 4x200m Relay (1:37.91). Junior Jeffrey Wirth won the Boys Shot Put (53-6). 

The Middies are back in action Friday (May 1) when they compete at the Margaretta Invitational. Action begins at 4:30 p.m.
