Boys Soccer ties Firelands 1-1

A late goal on a corner kick by senior Logan Bier helped Midview Varsity Boys Soccer tie visiting Firelands High School 1-1 Saturday (August 31) on Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium.

The Falcons scored midway through the first half, but the Middies' pressure finally broke through in the 77th minute. Junior Kaiden Vonya sent a corner kick into the box, which was finished off by Bier for the equalizer.

The Middies (2-2-1) are back in action Wednesday (September 4) with a Southwestern Conference game against host Avon Lake High School at 7 p.m.
