Midview Football drops SWC Opener to Avon Lake

Midview Varsity Football suffered its first loss of the season when visiting Avon Lake High School defeated the Middies 39-7 in Southwestern Conference action Friday (September 12)  under the Adelsberg Stadium Lights.

Midview jumped out to a 7-0 advantage on the first play from scrimmage when junior Brennen Newton took a handoff and then connected with senior Zachary Wallace for an 80-yard touchdown pass.
