Midview Girls Bowling takes 7th at OHSAA Sectional; Salkiewicz qualifies for Districts

Midview Varsity Girls Bowling had its bid for a second straight team trip to districts come up short with a seventh place finish at the 2026 OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament Sunday (February 15) at Yorktown Lanes. 

However, sophomore Addison Salkiewicz rolled a 522 three-game series (167-169-186) to earn the fourth and final spot in the next round by just one pin. Her performance gives the Middie girls at least one bowler advancing past sectionals for a third straight season.

Midview compiled 3,226 pins by way of 2,285 pins over the three traditional games and then 941 pins across six baker games.

Salkiewicz will compete in the OHSAA Division I Northeast District Tournament at Rebman Lanes on Monday (February 23) at 10 a.m.
