Midview Girls Tennis sweeps Cloverleaf

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis picked up a 5-0 road victory at Cloverleaf High School on Tuesday (August 19) afternoon.

Junior Jillian Hubbard (6-1, 6-1), senior Brynn Wuensch (6-0, 6-0) and junior Danica Hazzard (6-0, 6-0) won at first, second and third singles, respectively. The first doubles tandem of junior Leah Vasarab and freshman Abigail Klooz won by taking a tie-breaker (6-4, 2-6, 10-3) Senior Ella Butler and senior Sarah Watkins won at second singles with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).

The Middies (3-2, 1-2 SWC) visit powerhouse Avon High School on Wednesday (August 20) at 4:30 p.m.
