Two Middies to compete in OHSAA DII Regional Track and Field Championship
What: OHSAA Division II Boys and Girls Track & Field Regional Championship
Who: Midview and the other Top 4 Individuals and Relays from the Amherst Steele, Austintown Fitch, Nordonia and Tallmadge District Championship.
When: Wednesday (May 27) and Friday (May 29). Field Events begin at 4:30 p.m. Running Events start at 6 p.m.

Midview Qualifiers: Midview will have regional representation in both genders of the Discus Throw and Shot Put. Senior Isabel Geyer placed runner-up in the Discus Throw (113-08) and third in the Shot Put (37-03.00), while junior Jeffrey Wirth placed third in the Shot Put (56-07.00) and fourth in the Discus Throw (162-06) at the Amherst Steele District Championship.

Tickets: Tickets are sold online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets [Track and Field --> Division II --> North Royalton] Adult tickets are $11 and students are $5. Cash sales only at the gate. Gates will open at 4 p.m.
Spectator Information: Spectators within the stadium should stay in the bleachers (Home or Visitor side) or along the fence around the outside of the track. At no point are spectators allowed INSIDE the black fence which is considered a competition area. Failure to comply will result in removal from the facility with no refund given. Spectators wishing to watch the Shot Put or Discus may make their way to the throws area (See Facility Map #14 and #15). You may enter at either the North or South gate but upon exiting the facility you must get a hand stamp to show you have already paid. Failure to do so may result in you having to purchase another ticket.
Parking: Spectators shall NOT arrive earlier than 3:30 p.m. Arrival before this time will cause delays in the North Royalton busses getting off campus and causing issues for everyone. Please do not arrive before that time as the gates will not open until 4:00 p.m for spectators. You will be turned away by law enforcement. Concessions: Various concession items will be available for purchase by both cash and credit card. Regional Track & Field Championships merchandise will also be available.
What's at Stake: The top 5 individuals and 5 relay teams from each event AND the next TOP 3 times/heights/distances from around the STATE will advance to the OHSAA Division II Championship, which will take place June 6-7 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of The Ohio State University.
