Midview Softball will battle host North Ridgeville in District Semifinal May 13 at 2 PM

What: OHSAA Division I Softball District Semifinal

Who: No. 8 Midview High School at No. 4 North Ridgeville High School

When: Monday (May 13) at 2 p.m.

Where: North Ridgeville High School's Softball Field (34600 Bainbridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students and sold online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. Children under 5 are admitted free. Walk-up sales (cash or credit) will be available on site beginnng at 1:30 p.m.

How We Got Here: Midview, fueled by four home runs and 19 hits, topped No. 18 Wadsworth 16-6 in six innings, while North Ridgeville edged No. 19 Elyria 4-1.

What's at Stake: The winner will play either No. 13 Magnifcat High School or No. 22 Revere High School in the OHSAA District Final on the campus of North Ridgeville High School on Wednesday (May 15) at 5 p.m.

Last Meetings: These two teams met twice during the regular season with the Rangers taking home a pair of one-run victories on their home field. The score was 1-0 on April 10 and 4-3 on April 25.

Parking: Spectators will need to park on the northwest corner of campus in the orange lot located off Ranger Way/Center Ridge. The parking lot off Pitts will be closed until 4:00 PM except for limited handicap parking.

Spectator Notes: There are limited bleachers on site. Fans are encourgaed to bring their own chairs. Dogs are NOT permitted unless they are service animals.
