Midview Softball to open OHSAA Tournament play at home against Wadsworth on May 8

What: OHSAA Division I Softball Sectional Final

Who: No. 8 Midview High School vs. No. 18 Wadsworth High School

When: Wednesday (May 8) at 5 p.m.

Where: Midview High School's Softball Field (38199 Capel Road, Grafton, OH 44044)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students and sold online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. Children under 5 are admitted free. Walk-up sales (cash or credit) will be available behind home plate beginning at 4:30 p.m.

What's at Stake: The winner will play the winner of No. 4 North Ridgeville High School and No. 19 Elyria High School or No. 32 Maple Heights High School in the OHSAA District Semifinal on the campus of North Ridgeville High School on Monday (May 13) at 2 p.m.

Last Meeting: These two teams also met in the Sectional Final at Midview a year ago. The Middies used a six-run first inning to fuel their 9-3 victory over the Grizzlies.
