Midview Boys Soccer rallies past Elyria for 3-1 Senior Night win

Midview Varsity Boys Soccer celebrated its eight seniors prior to a 3-1 Southwestern Conference victory over visiting Elyria High School Wednesday (September 24) at Adelsberg Stadium.

The Pioneers jumped out to the 1-0 advantage with a goal in the fifth minute. The score remained the same until senior Kaiden Vonya tied the game in the 55th minute. The Middies took the lead for good when a Vonya corner kick was finished off by senior Anthony Loera in the 69th minute. Sophomore Andrew Morris then added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute.

The Middies (6-6-1, 2-3-1 SWC) remain home to face Olmsted Falls High School on Wednesday (October 1) at 7 p.m.
