Midview Boys Golf wins Elyria Invitational

Midview Varsity Boys Golf captured first place with a score of 314 strokes at the Elyria Invitational Thursday (August 7) at Carlisle Golf Course.

It was the Middies' first tournament title since winning the Edison Invitational in 2022. Junior Lucas Hendershot was the tournament medalist after posting a 76. Senior Wyatt Frank made his season debut and shot a 77. Senior Jonathan Klooz followed with a 78, while junior Zachary Rubin capped the scoring with an 83. Also competing were senior Patrick Dolin (84) and freshman Kellen Sykuta (88).

Midview returns to the course on Friday (August 8) when it competes in the Lorain County Athletic Administrators Association (LCAAA) Invite at Bob-O-Link. The shotgun start begins at 2 p.m. Please note that no spectators are allowed at this event.
