Bio

Ryan DiFranco lettered in baseball, basketball and football at Midview. He was an outstanding outfielder in baseball and was a three-year letter man. He was a starting point guard on the 1999 – 2000 team that finished the season with 17-3 record his senior year. He shot 51% from the field and had a better than two-to-one assist to turnover ratio.

Ryan DiFranco was a three year letter man in football. He was an outstanding wide receiver and defensive back on the 1998 and 1999 teams that won 19 games and lost 1 game. He averaged 16.4 yards per reception. He led the teams on defense. He had 59 solo tackles and 48 assists and intercepted two passes.

He had four running back sacks and caught the winning touchdown pass in the last few seconds against Revere to seal the victory. They lost to Mayfield in the second game.

He received numerous honors his senior year on a team that won all ten regular season games and was defeated by Wadsworth in the playoffs. He was named to The Plain Dealer’s ‘Best of the Best’ team that included all of the greater Cleveland area.

He was named to the All-Conference and Lorain County First Teams and to the All-Northeast District team. He capped off a brilliant career by being named to the All-State First Team on defense.

Ryan furthered his football career at Ohio Northern University and was the team’s Most-Valuable Defensive back his senior year.
